A recent study found a correlation between the love of bitter flavours – like black coffee – and some less than desirable personality traits. More than 1,000 adults were surveyed and asked to give their preferences when it came to food and flavours like sweet, sour, salty and bitter. Participants then took a series of personality tests to assess their traits, focusing on antisocial tendencies such as sadism, narcissism and psychopathy. The study found preferences for bitter flavours were linked to psychopathic behaviour. (Photo: Words and Wonders)
